[It isn't difficult, tracking down Asato. Not for the former Cheshire Cat, at least. His Name-given abilities are gone in all but appearance, and he'd attribute that to his place of landing were it not for his stubborn lack of a tail. But no, his ears are still his, black as they are (which lost him what little hospitality he would have even possibly gained as a stranger in a place such as this), but also gained him an... interesting acquaintance in the form of Asato.

And so, powers or not, that relationship affords him a certain knowledge of the other cat's tendencies, making him simple enough to find if the former Cheshire Cat puts his mind to it, as he has just done. He allows his feet to come to a halt a short way away, and links his hands behind his back with a sly smile.]

[ Darcy has to excuse herself in the middle of a rather important meeting with various bureaucratic types, grabbing her files and slipping out as unobtrusively as possible. Which isn't very, considering she could feel at least three pairs of eyes on her as she left - Fury's, Coulson's, and Norman Osborn's. It was the latter one that made her worry the most - mostly because he'd slipped her an unobtrusive piece of paper with the words "Give your father my regards" and then had stared at her with an obvious smirk that grew wider when she stared at him.

He knew. She didn't know how or why and normally she'd just brush it off as an idle threat but this was Osborn. Darcy knew when to recognize people who could play the system ( in whatever way they could - Tony Stark's methods were vastly different than say, Coulson's, but they could generally come to the same ends ) and Osborn? Could play it like he was born to and was particularly ruthless to boot.

Once she's at least relatively certain that no one is following her and she's quite alone she sends a quick text to Loki. ]

Watanuki is having one of those moments, when--as much as he blinks at the room and wonders whose bed this is and whose house he's in--his mind seems to slip on the details no matter how much he tries to hold them in. He reaches up, and touches a mysterious bandage at his temple. He feels weak; these two things are probably connected.

He tries to rouse himself. Swings one leg over the edge of the bed, touches and tests polished wood floors under his toes. His nape makes it about six inches away from the pillow before he collapses. Looks like he's stuck. ]

[The jibes and insults he could forgive. The, quite honestly, annoying violin playing at 3 in the morning was not the worst thing he'd ever been kept up by. Constantly running after him apologize for him was no trial either.

But finding fingers in the biscuits. Really. Fucking really? He just wanted some food. He was tired, hungry and his shoulder was acting up again with the rain. (What kind of medical science justified weather affecting healed injuries?) All he wanted was a biscuit and instead he grabbed onto some ladyfingers. Not the food. Actual. Ladies. Fingers. Well done. He made a noise of surprised disgust and fumbled for words to start where he couldn't find any.

This was absurd. He was a doctor, not a sidekick or a nanny or a consulting detective like Sherlock. The more he began to think about it the more he realized how awkward it was that he was here. It just...suddenly felt wrong. Sherlock was the one doing all the work here, the most John ever went after was the wrong hunch or amusing question. Sure he'd saved Sherlock's life one or two times but that was his luck wasn't it? Sherlock always had someone to save him. John just ...didn't know if that person was supposed to be him suddenly.

God, he was tired. ]
