It did feel like they were racing the clock or something, he was moving more desperately, with less care than before, she could feel the restraint leave his muscles as her fingers pressed against his back and he moved above her. But he wasn't the only one that felt that desperation, felt that mounting pleasure, like she was on the edge of a great big something, ready to jump. And when his body tensed above hers, he whimpered and gasped and cried out her name, she felt it surge through her, felt pleasure flow through her, it wasn't her release, no, but she didn't know any better, all she knew was that she was flooded with warmth as he came undone above her and she felt like she was coming undone herself. Her legs moved to wrap around his waist, to hold him close even if the gesture might be a bit forward or bold (of course, how much bolder could you get when you're bare beneath your lover) and she held him close, arms around his neck as she let out a moan of her own.

But coming undone was really all he had left to do, pressing against her harder and faster as she locked her arms and legs around him. He didn't care if the action might be bold, he liked it, it told him that she wanted him here, wanted him close, more than any words ever could. He breathed her name again, breath hitching, heartbeat racing, as his hips moved faster and harder until suddenly -
There was the edge, and then he was over it. He bit back a sound, gasping sharply instead as his back arched and he tried to press himself as absolutely close to her as he could, and then still somehow get closer. His body was burning up, there was a shockwave spreading across his skin, starting from the place where their bodies were connected and racing over every inch of him until there was nothing left but pleasure, but release, something he'd never imagined could feel like this and yet here it was. He selfishly forgot about making Summer feel good, for a moment - he couldn't forget her, not a chance, her very presence was flooding his every sense, his every thought. But all he could think about, past that, was how good he felt, and everything else would have to wait just a minute... or two.

Her body curled around his, tightened, arms and legs clinging to him as she helplessly just rode out the sensations her body provided, that he provided her, her eyes clenched shut as she swore that fireworks were bursting behind her eyelids.

But he hadn't burned up, of course - the pleasure finally, finally seemed to ebb, his lungs burning for air and he took a gasping breath, then another, eyes blinking almost blindly for a moment as he saw Summer underneath him, looking far too close - but that was because he was pressed so closely above her. "Oh - " was about all he could get out, trying to get his elbows underneath him, trying to get his weight off of her just a little as they both lay there panting in the otherwise silent room. His eyes immediately went to the door - even with his chest still heaving, body still tingling, he wanted to make sure her father hadn't heard anything, every part of his senses attuned to the door for just a moment, just to be sure.

And while he was pressing her to the mattress, his weight fully on her as they both started to come down, she made a soft sound of protest when he moved away, her legs tightening around him for fear he might pull away completely. Her body wasn't ready for that, not yet. But before she could say or do anything more, his eyes were on the door and she tensed, her head falling back as she tried to look at the door herself, upside down almost. Her eyes returned to his face after a few seconds of silence, her expression questioning as if to ask if he'd heard something.

And he wanted her to know it. "Summer..." he began, but even for someone so skilled with words, he was at a loss for them after that. "That was... I mean... you felt... amazing, right?"

"Well... whatever you think you need to thank me for, you're welcome, but I just wanted you to feel good. I'm glad you did, I didn't know you wouldn't at first. That's really normal?" He wasn't sure how much she knew, but it was clearly all news to him.

But sore, apparently, and he didn't tell him not to move, so he took that as a sign that maybe it would be for the best - at least to pull away, out of her, but if she wanted him to stay where he was, he'd do his best. "Here - " He leaned down, pressing his lips to hers, resting his weight on one hand and trying to distract her with a kiss, which had seemed to work before, as one hand skimmed down between their bodies and he shifted his hips back just a little, trying to move out of her without moving away from her.

However, as his hand slipped down her body, she shivered a little, pressing closer to his lips just as he made a move to pull out of her. Her skin felt extra sensitive, all over, and because of that, she couldn't help the way her face contorted for a second, at the slight feeling of discomfort as her body adjusted to not having him there anymore. Still, her mouth only faltered against his for a moment before kissing him back deeply, fingers curling against his scalp.

He felt the way she faltered, even that small bit; he tried to mumble an earnest apology, but it was hard when she pressed her lips right back to his, pulling him close for a deeper kiss. And so he just kissed her back, trying to apologize that way, his hand sliding back up her side, reaching up even further to touch her cheek, thumb stroking over the soft skin there. "You are so amazing, Summer Roberts. I hope you know it."

"As little?" she laughs, breathlessly, shaking her head as she leans up to kiss him once more. "I'm pretty sure even if it hurts a bit every time, I want this more than 'as little'." In the end it felt too good not to want to do it again. And she hoped that wasn't too bold to say aloud but she was finding herself feeling more comfortable with saying things like that with him even if she knew she was supposed to be more bashful or demure.
no subject
And oh, how could he look anything but happy, at her next words? Who the hell cared if it wasn't bashful and demure, what she said was the best thing he'd ever heard, the way she wasn't afraid to tell him that, either. "Yeah? Really? Well - I mean, we can do it a lot." He paused, laughing sheepishly. "Or - well, you know. Not a little. But I don't think your dad is going to be okay with me asking to stay every night, so... " It might be a little hard to finagle a lot, just now. But he'd meant what he said - he meant to marry her, he wanted that with her, and as soon as he was able to get back on his feet, really back on his feet, and on his own (not that her uncle hadn't been the most hospitable of men), he wanted to ask her.
no subject
"I could always come visit you at my uncle's," she put in quietly, her fingers stroking his face as she looked up at his face. It'd be easier to do this at her uncle's since her uncle tended to go on trips and she knew that he was just as a heavy sleeper as her father. Come Thanksgiving, they're both snoring on the couch first. "Plus every night... that might wear you out."
no subject
He laughed quietly, grinning widely as she suggested coming to visit him at her uncle's. "Oh... I think I might like that," he admitted; the man was a heavy sleeper, and he wasn't always home. It would work out pretty well, even if his bed there was a bit smaller than the Roberts' guest bed. "And I guess I should get some sleep sometimes," he conceded, "But if I had to lose sleep... you're the person I want to lose it to, beautiful." Speaking of sleep... now he felt like he might be able to get it, but he didn't want to suggest it yet - because he knew she'd have to go back to her room, and he was just too comfortable here, like this. He wanted to stay wrapped in this moment for as long as he possibly could, just to make sure tonight had really happened. "And we don't want your dad to get suspicious, either."
no subject
"Well, I hope you don't lose too much sleep," she teased softly. "And I don't think my father would get too suspicious. He thinks you're a good boy for the most part." She grinned at him, knowing that while he was a good man, what they just did wasn't his doing, she'd been the one to start it.
