"Well... thank you," he murmured, grinning and reaching up as best he could to touch her temple, glad that she wanted to come, that she would have come either way. He couldn't say he didn't want the support. "I love you for wanting to come, and for a whole lot of other things, too. And hopefully it won't take all day; maybe we could go out for lunch or dinner, too?"

"Dinner or lunch or both would be great." Her grin remained intact even as she put in, "If you're not too tired since I'd be pretty tired if I were you. I could always fix you dinner or something." If he wanted to stay in or didn't feel up to going out. She hoped that the prognosis would be good though. Her lips pressed to his a few more times. "I think we'll need to change the sheets and things before I go."

"Yeah? Maybe both, then." He grinned at the idea that she wanted to spend all day with him - he certainly wasn't averse, though he should probably at least talk to his parents, at some point, and let them know how things had gone - that he'd gotten his memory back at all. But they could wait, the person who was most important in his life was right here, with him, kissing him and he was happy to kiss her back, lost in that for a moment before she spoke again.

He blinked, realizing - "Oh - oh, I guess we should... let me help." Of course... that meant they'd have to get up, so after a moment or so during which he built up his resolution, he started to move, sitting up, holding out a hand to help her up, too, groaning quietly because it really was so very comfortably pressed against her. "Can we get these in the wash without raising any suspicion?" He supposed she could always take them back to her room, stash them in a closet until later.

Summer knew he had obligations to other people, that she wasn't his whole life, but she couldn't help but want to be selfish. It was hard not to be after what just happened, the huge step they'd taken in the right direction, she wanted to be with him all the time, kissing him, touching him, just being around him.

She let out a soft sigh when he pulled away but she knew that they needed to get going or get caught. She sat up with his help, her body feeling heavily and achey in the best way possible. Her hands moved to his face as they both sat up, her eyes meeting with his. "I can take them back to my room. I'll figure out what to do with them later." Luckily her father never paid attention to the linens much, let alone the linens of the guest room. She pressed another soft kiss to his lips before she made the move to slip out of bed, wobbly as hell. Still, she glanced back before seeing her robe tangled in the sheets and she pulled it free so she could slip it on. She was thankful that the guest room had it's own washroom attached so that even if her father heard them turn on the faucet, he'd just think it was Leckie. "I guess whatever towel you use... Well, I can take that too."

He gave her a soft, grateful smile just as she kissed him and moved to slip out of the bed, taking a moment to orient himself before he saw that his boxers had been discarded in a heap on the floor. He flashed her a sheepish grin and leaned down to snatch them up, feeling not necessarily self-conscious - how could he? - but definitely silly wandering around the room naked. He pulled on his shorts as Summer pulled on her robe, with one eye to her just to make sure she wasn't going to fall over - he could understand how she felt, his legs felt like they were made of jelly - and the rest of his body, too. He nodded as she said she'd takes the sheets and towel back, sliding off the bed himself to start gathering up the bedclothes and fold them into as neat a pile as he could manage for her to take back.

"Thanks for doing that." Once she saw that he was handling the sheets, she moved to the bathroom to wet two wash cloths and get more sheets out of the linen closet inside. She tucked the sheets beneath her elbow as she walked out of the rest room and offered him one of the damp wash cloths. She felt a little embarrassed about it all even as she set the clean sheets on the mattress and moved to turn a little so she could use her washcloth to clean up.

"No problem," he murmured, letting her head for fresh sheets - and washcloths, his face lighting up a bit at how thoughtful she was and taking the one she offered with a word of thanks. Of course, she turned away a little and he had no problem giving her a bit of privacy, doing the same and running the damp, cool cloth over his forehead and most of his body before tugging at his shorts a little so he could clean the rest of himself up. He sort of thought he might just sleep without the shorts for the rest of the night... at least he knew he wouldn't likely have any visitors, even if that hadn't exactly been his thinking the first time around. But his body was still warm, and he would welcome the chance to cool off.

He waited a good long while before glancing back over his shoulder to make sure she'd had time to clean off, folding the cloth up so the outside was cleaner than the inside and setting it on top of the sheets. "Thank you, for taking these. I'd walk you back to your room, but I suppose that'd just be asking for trouble."

After she got herself mostly cleaned off, at least enough to get down the hall to her own room. So once he turned around and spoke, she was closing her robe up and turning to face him, moving to put her cloth on the pile of things to be cleaned. "You're welcome," she said with a bit of smile, moving towards him now that their hands were empty and she wrapped her arms around him, leaning up to press a kiss to his lips. "I love you so much. I wish you could walk me to my room."

He grinned down at her as her arms came around him, reaching up to touch the hair at her temple as his other hand wrapped around her back, too, holding her close as she leaned up to kiss him and he leaned down to meet her halfway. "Me, too... but I guess I'll just have to kiss you goodnight here. But that doesn't mean I love you any less, gorgeous. Tonight was..." He laughed a little, it had been so many things, and he knew she knew that. "Well... I wouldn't trade it for anything." The bad and the good - but it had been mostly good, really good, and he felt like they were at the beginning of something big, and he couldn't wait.

She wasn't sure how gorgeous she was, all flushed with messy hair but she knew that no matter what, she loved the man whose arms she was in. And he seemed to think she was gorgeous. "Tonight definitely was..." She gave a dramatic pause to mock his, grinning up at him as blissful as can be. "You're right." Her hand slipped up his chest to rest on his neck, thumb tracing along his jaw. "Want me to help you with the sheets before I go?"

Oh, she was beyond gorgeous, he couldn't have imagined her looking more appealing than she was right now, whether she knew it or not. Of course, he laughed as she mocked him and his loss for words, though she ought to know that to put him at a loss for words meant it was really something. And it had been.

He hummed quietly as her fingers slipped up his bare chest to touch his neck, his face, marveling at how familiar the gesture felt when he had only experienced it for the first time less than an hour ago. When he shook his head, it was just barely; he didn't want to dislodge her fingers. "No, that's all right. I can get it. You head back and get some sleep, I'm going to do the same."

Somehow, despite having only been anywhere close like this with him for the first time about an hour ago, it felt like they'd been doing this forever. Maybe it was because she dreamed of these moments, moments where they were close and things were tender. She smiled at him, nodding when he refused her offer to help. "Okay," she whispered softly, leaning up to press her lips to his, whispering just before-- "Goodnight."

The hand at her cheek slipped around to cradle her head, gently, as she kissed him, humming against her lips though he would have to wait to say a proper goodbye until after their lips had parted. He wished she didn't have to go back to her room for what was probably the hundredth time, but it didn't change a thing, and he knew it wouldn't.

"Goodnight, Summer," he murmured, smiling down at her when he finally leaned back enough to break the kiss. "I'll see you in the morning, sweetheart."

Summer was finding it hard to get the resolve to move away from him, leaning up to kiss him again after he said goodnight, deepening the kiss for a moment before she pulled back with a laugh. "Okay, okay. I'm going." Another two kisses then she pulled away, moving to grab the pile of sheets and towels, holding them to her chest. "I love you and I'll see you in the morning."

Well, he couldn't say he was helping any, happily getting lost in those kisses, pulling back slowly when she finally seemed to resolve herself and step back. "I love you, too. Sleep well." He knew, this time, that he would.

He moved to pull the door open for her - it wasn't exactly walking her back to her room, but at least it was something, right?

"Sweet dreams," she whispered as he opened the door and she stole one last kiss from him before she started to tip toe down the hallway and back to her room to sleep more soundly and more happily than she had in years.

"Mm-hm," he hummed softly against her lips, grinning as she finally, finally pulled away and started making her way down the hall, watching until she'd disappeared before he slipped back into the room, shutting the door as silently as he could. He re-made the bed with fresh sheets in no time, finally stripping back out of his boxers and sliding between the sheets to fall asleep almost instantly this time, the noise in his head having been quieted by the warm, buzzing feeling she'd left him with for the rest of the night.
