I guess we both got lucky then, We'll just clean up a bit and head out for a bite to eat. I'm starved.

[The ride is fairly quick, but soon the cab is depositing them at their front door.]

I don't particularly feel the need for a shower, but do what you've got to do and we'll be off to The Great Wall.

Excellent. You should probably change cloths considering we where exposed to unknown chemical agents. [ He says keying open the front door heading into the sitting room taking off his coat and heading up to change his own cloths. ]

Mmn. Potential residue on the clothes; probably not enough to trigger any effects, but I suppose we can't take that chance... [He sniffs at his collar curiously as he heads in the direction of his room... A few minutes later, he reappears with a new outfit.]

[ john comes back down in a different pair of jeans and different color jumper, is that all the man has in his closet? It seems so. ]

You actually changed... [ He says a little surprised but shrugs. ] Come on lets go.

[Sherlock pulls a face. Give yourself some credit, John, you do have a good idea once in a blue moon. He tugs at the sleeves of his shirt as they head out.]

After this I want to check the website. Twenty-four hours, something of value may have come down the tubes.

[ John nods. ] Alright. Food then seeing if we've got any new information.

[ It's a quick walk to the restaurant and John and studies over the menu. ]

[Food, yes. Sherlock looks over the menu with an air of apathy, and when the waitress appears:] Pot of hot tea, and the potstickers.

[Which would be an appetizer.]

Real meal Sherlock. Please? [ he says setting the menu down and ordering the sweet and sour pork dish ]

[He sends John a weary look, but all the same mutters:] Chicken and cashew.

[As the waitress walks away:] You are not my mother.

I know I'm not your mum, I don't have the right bits. But someone has to make sure you don't starve to death.

Friends worry about each other. [ he adds. ] Some friends require more worry then others.

[Although the fact that John might be counted as his one friend has been recently drilled into him once and for all, so he adds:] Although I suppose your concern is -- [Searching for a word, here --] -- charming.

I know you don't have friends, you have a friend and a brother. But my point remains the same. [ he smiles a little as the waitress brings their plates and tea. ]

Actually, not bad.

[To Sherlock, food is little more than fuel, but even he doesn't like his fuel to be over-greasy or tasteless. He puts some on his plate - hardly filling it up, but certainly 'more than a few bites' as John dictated before - and sets to work eating.]

Is that all you are really going to have... it's a wonder you can think as fast you do with as little as you eat. [ John loads up his own plat and tucks into his food. ]

Hunger sharpens the mind and increases focus; digestion only sends blood to the stomach that would be of better use to the brain. I only need enough to get me to the next one.

Bull shit Sherlock, you brain function may seem quicker, but your more prone to mistakes when you don't properly care for your body, your not as sharp. Eat your dinner. [ He says pouring himself some tea. ]

Good. [ He huffs eating a little more of his pork. ] Look I'm sorry, just during a case, you kind of... you forget that you are human too, and have certain need. You need to start taking better care of yourself.

I've already given up cigarettes. How many more indignities must I suffer through?

Eating regular meals isn't an indignity Sherlock, and you still smoke occasionally, and you cover your self in those bloody patches. Which I would prefer you didn't.

[...Oh, now that's odd.

Sherlock had already been thinking about the patches when John brought them up. Was already thinking about going for one when they got home, to help him concentrate while he sifted through potential cases on the website... But then John voiced his request, and the desire vanished. Which is odd.
