the ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE MEME 1. Post with your character. 2. That character is compelled to follow the orders of anyone who replies. 3. Any orders. 4. Any orders. Meme Strategy: There's nothing in the rules about whether or not your character knows s/he must obey - as well, the other character might not know that s/he must be obeyed. Play it however you like. Don't like the orders you got? Not willing to have your character follow them, even if you've had a good time up to this point? Talk to the other player, use OOC notes or PMs, try and work it out. You only use language like that when you're angry. I don't see why you are. We've only already had this conversation about a dozen times.

Because Sherlock, when people care about each other about their friends or friend in the singular, it is painful to watch them not given a damn about themselves.

[John should know very well how unaccustomed he is to friendship, how the concern of others makes him uncomfortable. So that's as close to an apology as he's going to give. That and silence as they step into the flat. Once inside, he awkwards about, but only for a second.]

[Was already planning on it, actually, but he still gives John a tight half-smile - this one is in more good humor than before, more amused - and he starts to play. A bit of Bach.]

[ John goes and puts the kettle on and then goes and settles into the couch to listen to Sherlock play. ]

[He plays through a whole concerto and finishes with as much of a flourish as he ever gives anything - a little lean back, eyes half-closed and focused out the window as he plays the final note.

He's not smiling, but quietly contemplative. Calmer than he was before.]

Better? [ He says as he finishes prepping the tea and bring back to two mugs and setting them on the cluttered coffee table. Setting back into his arm chair. ]

Sufficiently. [He pulls the bow over all the strings in succession, which makes a bit of screechy noise, but he stops there and turns to get himself some tea.]
