meme | #002 -- absolute obedience ( do you do you want to )

the ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE MEME

1. Post with your character.

2. That character is compelled to follow the orders of anyone who replies.

3. Any orders.

4. Any orders.

Meme Strategy:

There's nothing in the rules about whether or not your character knows s/he must obey - as well, the other character might not know that s/he must be obeyed. Play it however you like.

Don't like the orders you got? Not willing to have your character follow them, even if you've had a good time up to this point? Talk to the other player, use OOC notes or PMs, try and work it out.

Got some stuff you'd never want to play out? Consider making a preferences post and linking to it when you reply here.

Wanna give orders that people would love to follow? Give em context. Make it a story. Is this about revenge? Working out some personal issues? Too dumb to realize that the other guy has to do whatever your guy says?

I am not a princess. Can you not see that?

Should it not be interesting to figure out what I am instead?

No, you're royalty. The way your hair is done, along with the shape of your wrists says that.
skepticseer: (slightly amused)

[personal profile] skepticseer 2012-01-15 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
No, I am not.

[This shall be interesting, at least for her. The order was be interesting, not be interesting to anyone specific.]
the_new_sexy: ([action] YOU ARE PUTTING ME OFF)

Then you're raised by someone who is royalty. Or at least privileged.

Your hair, the way it's kept is done by someone else, which means you've got servants. Could be simply wealthy, but the clasp holding your hair is old. Old money, then. The way your wrists are held shows a decided amount of personal attention to poise and posture. Poise and posture, old money, royalty.
skepticseer: (You are kidding)

You were specific, that I was a princess. Perhaps you should find out more about a person than guessing.

Now, I see you altering your opinion so that you are right. Is this how you work?
the_new_sexy: ([observing] watching and thinking)

It's called inferring. I'm not a psychic, I merely observe.
skepticseer: (green cloak)

[personal profile] skepticseer 2012-01-15 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Yet you inferred incorrectly.

And have you observed anything else?

[She sounds oh so amused.]
the_new_sexy: ([deducing] considered that)

[personal profile] the_new_sexy 2012-01-15 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Are you claiming you aren't royalty?

I have found, in the past, when men avoid a question, it is because they do not like the answer.
the_new_sexy: ([action] smirkface)

[personal profile] the_new_sexy 2012-01-15 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
And I've found that those being analyzed who avoid a question are probably being analyzed correctly.
skepticseer: (hilarious)

[personal profile] skepticseer 2012-01-15 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
[She laughs. It isn't a nervous laugh, more one that finds him amusing.]

It was not me who avoided the question. I will answer yours when you answer mine.

It is how conversations usually progress.
