Perhaps a walk would clear his mind... but the thought of silence brings no comfort of solace, instead twists his stomach with a lurch.

He sighs again. Involuntarily he finds his gaze drifting to Sango -- is she sleeping? It's hard to tell in the dimness, and he isn't close enough to reach a conclusion based on the rhythm of her breathing. It would be unnecessarily troublesome to wake her -- perhaps equally so even if she is awake -- but ... ]

Sango...? [ He's whispering before he even realizes it. Sorry... ] Are you awake?
