[He twines his fingers with hers, bring their joined hands up to brush soft kisses to her fingertips.]

Please don't do this, please. My life might be longer but it doesn't mean I don't want you there.

[She takes a deep breath and lets it out as a soft sigh. His touch feels so right...it takes away any hesitation she'd had.]

I don't want to hurt you when I die...it's going to be sooner than you think.

[A bonus hard to say thing--Becca's never been good with talking about her powers, and explaining her vision of her death to the man she loves is harder than trying to leave him to spare him.]

[He reaches for her, pleading with his eyes. There's a miserable note to his voice and he can't help but feel as if he should have known this was coming. Life has never been easy on him, why should it start now when he's found the woman he loves?]

Dorogaya, I don't want to leave you alone. Even if-especially if- your time is shorter than I thought.

[She snuggles into his arms; he's the only person she lets touch her around the shoulders besides her baby brother. Too many bad memories of the abuse she suffered, and some spots are still painful. Nowhere he touches, though.]

I've never been able to change the future before...maybe with your power you can. But...if we can't... This time next year. That's all I've got left.

[He buries his face in her hair, holds her warm and close in his arms. He'd never hurt her, this fragile, wonderful human he's fallen in love with. It's more than he ever expected, more than he thinks he deserves.]

Shh, don't apologize Becca. It's not your fault, alright? We'll try our best to change it, but if we can't then we'll just have to make the most of our time together.

[She cuddles close. He's so much taller than her, and so bulky. She loves it, she feels safe in his arms. Even when the rest of the world is going to hell, she can cuddle up to him and be confident that not even nuclear war could separate them. The thought of dying on him, though... It fills her eyes with tears, and soon she's sobbing onto him.]

[She's so tiny in his arms and he can't help but want to shelter her from the world, from the fate that seems to be so inevitable and close. Russia presses a kiss to her head, tips up her face to wipe away her tears.]

I want to keep you here with me as well, love. You know I would try anything if I could have that.

[She closes her eyes while he wipes her face, enjoying the feeling of being taken care of. She opens them when he's done, and goes up on tiptoe to steal a kiss from his lips. She can taste the salt of her tears, but she doesn't care. She needs his touch, needs his love now more than ever.]

We'll fight fate together...tomorrow. Tonight... Tonight I just want to be with you.

[He gives her a little smile and returns the kiss. There's love in the way he holds her close, the way he brushes his lips against the corner of her mouth before stealing away another kiss.]

[She smiles back, the urge to cry long gone once she sees his smile. Whatever else happens, as long as she can keep seeing that smile, it's all okay. She kisses him back when he steals that kiss, opening her mouth and flicking her tongue over his lips. Tonight...tonight she wants everything, just because they can, because for tonight, fate can't stop them.]

[Russia instantly deepens the kiss, arms pulling her closer if it was possible, and soothing a hand up her back. Fate has nothing on them tonight, and he hopes he can make her forget his lack of mortality, and the fact that soon enough fate will try to rip her from his grasp. For now he has her in his arms and nothing can take her away.]

[She presses herself against him, moaning softly into his mouth. This is pure heaven right here, she doesn't need anything else. She trails her fingers up his cheeks and into his hair, playing with it gently as she surrenders her mouth to his deep kiss.]

[He cradles her in his arms, a hand sliding through her long hair to rest at her nape, fingers twining in the soft strands. He can't help the little loving murmur those gentle fingers in his own hair drags out of him and just scoops her up in his arms without breaking the kiss. He want to memorize the way she feels, the ways she sounds, the scent of her skin, he won't have long with her even by mortal standards and he plans on making this year count.]

[His strength has always fascinated her; so powerful and yet so sweet and gentle with her. She fits against him perfectly, and his touch draws another soft moan. She pulls back from the kiss to pant softly, resting her forehead against his.]

[He smiles again warmly, easily holding her up in his arms. This will go in whatever direction she wants it to go tonight, but he's fairly confident he won't mind whatever she wants.]

[Becca shifts softly in his arms, pulling back a bit. She puts her hands on the bottom of her shirt, and slowly lifts it off. There's always a bit of hesitancy there; her scars are pretty bad in her mind, and no matter how many times she shows them to him, she's always afraid he'll be repulsed by them. Still, off it comes and she drops it on the floor. She reaches up to undo her bra next, presenting herself to him like a gift.]

[Russia, unfortunately, knows exactly how she feels about scars. It's part of the reason he keeps his scarf on at all hours. But oh he loves those scars of hers, they show what she's been through and what she's risen above. He dips down to press a kiss to her neck, trailing over her collarbones as he keeps her held securely and heads toward their room.]

[She nuzzles against him as he carries her, and deposits her bra on the floor once the bedroom door is shut. She'll need to wait to be set down to take anything else off, but she's not in any hurry to be out of his arms. It feels nice to just press against him topless.]

[He shuts the door behind them with a foot, moving to set her down on the bed carefully. With a little grin against her skin he lets his hands wander her oh so warm skin, fingers trailing over the curve of her sides, before reaching up to cup her breasts.]
