[You can probably hear the creaking a little while later. Dave might just be wandering around their apartment.

He hasn't worked the courage up to go back to Bro yet.]

[He can, in fact, hear the sounds indicating that Dave is creeping around the apartment. At first he didn't mind and was content to let Dave do his own thing. After a time, however, Dave's poor attempts at being stealthy became a distraction.]

[As soon as Bro spoke, the creaking stopped. Dave may have finally eventually went back to his room.

[He can sense Dave's presence hovering around his door and he sighs. This is getting silly. And while Dave may not want to bother him, there's nothing stopping Bro from bothering Dave.

He snatches up a nearby smuppet and, after scrawling and attaching a note that reads "for company", he flashes outside his door and drops it in his brother's lap. Less than a second later he's back in front of his laptop as if he never left the spot.]
