meme #007 | classic word association ( murder: employment )

Word Association is a common word game involving an exchange of words that are associated together. The game is based on the noun phrase word association, meaning "stimulation of an associative pattern by a word" or "the connection and production of other words in response to a given word, done spontaneously as a game, creative technique, or in a psychiatric evaluation."

[ it would be perfect if barsad didn't routinely play this kind of conversational game outside of the game as it is. bane has all the words in their professional partnership. ]

Of?

Funny. [ But he's not laughing. ]

It seems the women have a tendency to do that.

[ Bruce is talking about Betty in this case. ]

They're uniquely suited to lead, I agree.

[ Women can be exceptionally cruel, after all. ]

[ And that's where they differ. Bruce believes in kindness, Barsad with the commentary on cruelness. ]

Makes you wonder what the world would be like with them running the show.

Things would be cleaner.

[ There's a hint of wry humor here, for all that he says his line with the seriousness of a man on his deathbed. Cleaner, in that women seem to have little patience for the grandstanding of men; things would be more efficient. Quicker. Sharper.

But that might just be his own background speaking for him. ]

Perhaps. Though if anything it might be too much order.

[ He takes the joke for what it is, his own experience with Betty and her constant demand for resolution with Ross and Bruce coming to mind. Seems like all women knew what they wanted. ]

Perhaps it's for the best though.

There is no such thing as too much order. It only changes into tyranny, instead of chaos.

[ Spoken from the knowledge of experience; it's a bit biased. ]

To that end, gender matters very little.
