FORMAL OR INFORMAL, WITH MUSIC OR WITHOUT, YOU COULD BE AT A GLAMOUROUS GALA WHILE A SINGER CROONS SOFTLY OR IN THE SILENCE OF YOUR OWN LIVING ROOM. WHEREVER YOU ARE, YOU HAVE THE URGE TO DANCE. DID YOU ASK YOUR PARTNER OR DID THEY ASK YOU? HAVE YOU GOT TWO LEFT FEET OR IS THE VIENNESE WALTZ YOUR JAM? IT COULD BE AWKWARD, IT COULD BE ROMANTIC. EITHER WAY IT'S CUTE AS HELL.

[One of the fins raise up quizzically- Shepard could probably recognize that her input probably just made it question some of it's own speculation.]

Do you not make emotional connections to your crewmates? Even if it is unintentional.

Off the Normandy, though, that's not quite as kosher. What we've got in dangerous and psychotic, we're lacking in good old-fashioned military protocol.

[There's a bit of a pause as the fins flare up slightly and lower. The eye glances slightly away and looks back.]

We assumed that sharing an enclosed space for an extended amount of time in combination with sharing similar, yet unique experiences would result in some form of bonding amongst individual units. Observing conditions outside the Normandy would be desirable to better understand this.

[It probably just fired off a few more extranet search protocols.]

That's true, but it's always second to business. Here... [A glance around the crowd, all dancing and enjoying themselves and being utterly useless from a military standpoint.] Not so much. I guess that's a little refreshing.
infiltrait0rn7: (hm?)

Do you also find relief in this event, Shepard-Commander?

[Considering the Normandy had a different atmosphere, it might not be the same situation. Knowing it was the exception in this case, not the rule, left it wanting more observation and more input.]
femshep: (I'm listening.)

[Her head tilts just slightly. Thoughtfully.] I haven't quite reached consensus on that one.

We can wait for you to acquire more data.

[It appears to be playing along.]
femshep: (how do you figure?)

[personal profile] femshep 2012-05-02 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[Aw, Legion. She's proud of you, bullshitting like a true Normandy soldier. Appreciatively:]

Didn't know humor was part of your programming.

We integrate new data from our experiences as a supplement to our programming code.

[It remembers all those interrupts, Shep. Whether it be based on truth or just a lot of hot air.]

In that case, I'm thinking we need to keep you out of the bridge. [The last thing they need is Hot or Not: Legion Edition.]

The Normandy pilot seems knowledgable on what is considered humorous to organics.

[Oh god no.]

True as that may be, he's also got a few habits I don't want you picking up on.
