We can always call this my audition for Christmas? *Slight smirk. Yes, he can dance. Maybe not the best dancer, but he'll definitely help her enjoy a slow dance, not anywhere near stepping on her toes. And most people are vulnerable when those large eyes are looking at them, and only them.*

[She barked a laugh at that, audition. It was so cheesy he had to actually mean it. Still it had broken her out of the stone still stance she'd taken and slipped her hand into his.

It might come as a surprise to Bucky that dancing was part of her, something she'd loved and at one point (In one life anyway) she thought it would be her career. Her steps were fluid, graceful, light and sure; as precise as her movements in battle only now she was smiling.]

Christmas is a long way off.

*hey, it wasn't cheesy in his day!

But this... this dance. He'd never had a partner like this, and it was transporting. In a way undreamed-of before, suddenly the only thing that existed in the entire universe, past, present, and future, was this dance.

Her voice actually brought him back a little, his eyes a tad dreamy with the entirely new and, yes, beautiful experience as he smiles slightly, almost sadly at the reminder that it was about to end.*

Yes. A very long way off, I suddenly realize.
