He supposed that if nothing else, they'd never been conventional, especially not with his amnesia getting in the way for the past few months. So it really didn't matter to him, whether this was 'normal' or not - he just wanted what was right for them, and the rest of the world could simply deal with it.

He laughed quietly, grinning widely as she suggested coming to visit him at her uncle's. "Oh... I think I might like that," he admitted; the man was a heavy sleeper, and he wasn't always home. It would work out pretty well, even if his bed there was a bit smaller than the Roberts' guest bed. "And I guess I should get some sleep sometimes," he conceded, "But if I had to lose sleep... you're the person I want to lose it to, beautiful." Speaking of sleep... now he felt like he might be able to get it, but he didn't want to suggest it yet - because he knew she'd have to go back to her room, and he was just too comfortable here, like this.
