At that sound, his body froze - but no, he hand't planned on pulling away completely, he wasn't ready for that, either, not by a long shot. Though when he glanced at the door, he felt Summer shift a little underneath him, looking up at him questioningly after a few more heartbeats of silence. He glanced down at her, shaking his head, smiling with relief - and the little aftershocks of pleasure still coursing through him. "I just wanted to make sure... well, it's just, if your dad heard something... I'm getting kicked to the curb," he murmured, between breaths. He hadn't heard anything, and the coast seemed to be clear, he just hoped it stayed that way - because he very much wanted to stay this way, feeling like he was floating, feeling more in love, more overwhelmed by that love than he'd ever thought possible.
