He really didn't care if people stared, though he knew she might, so when she pulled back he didn't necessarily try to follow her lips with his. But that didn't mean his smile faded at all - no, if anything it got wider, as his fingers stayed right at her temple, thumb stroking the soft skin there, feeling like he wanted to just freeze this moment forever, how good it felt, how right. "I might never get sick of it... though I'll tell you the same thing just as many times." He had a feeling she needed to hear it more than he did, and he had no problem telling her those words, over and over. And when she said he was strong, his smile turned a little softer, and he said, "Maybe... but you're the reason I want to be strong." It would have been so easy to give up, to move away, to start over... but she had made that impossible for him to even imagine. So the only way was forward, and that had been how they got to where they were, in this park, in this moment. "You've done a lot more than help. And I love you for that, too."
