"No, you definitely don't." If he had his way, it would be more like every day that she saw him than once a week. He knew that once he got busy, that might be difficult, but if he could convince her to keep working at the hospital if he got a job there... that might be a bit more likely. And it would be nice for both of them to have a friendly face around.

"I don't think it could be as hard with you helping me as it would be any other way," he said earnestly, reaching over to take her hand, squeezing her fingers gently. "So I think that's an awfully good start. It's got to be easier, together, than it is apart."
