He looked a little unsure at that - not that he didn't believe her, but still... "Are you sure?" Well, he could still bring her flowers, those weren't expensive, and besides - he had a lot of backpay in his pocket, but she was right in thinking that was, at least for the moment, unemployed. "You'll let me know if you change your mind... but in the meantime, I have no problem being put to work." Not by her, not by a long shot.

"Oh - really?" Honestly, he didn't know what to expect when he'd asked the question, but it was definitely an... interesting answer. He did nod, though, when she mentioned she had a few articles saved. "Yeah? I think I'd like that... just to see if you're biased or not," he added, though he couldn't help but smile, pleased, when she got across the fact that he'd been able to make a subject like that interesting to her. "Although I'm really not sure I could just march back down there and ask for my job back. Honestly, I'm not sure they'd hire me back even if I could remember... they've probably found someone new by now. I think I might be better doing something more along the lines of manual labor for a bit." Honestly, he didn't know whether he'd be able to pick a pen up and just write after everything... though now he was a little curious to try. Maybe he'd start a journal. Maybe he'd pretend they were letters to Summer.
