"Good, name dropping can be very helpful," she remarked as she started cutting the roast into slices. Once he had the food set out on the table, she moved to bring the roast over since he already got the mashed potatoes there. She served out a slice for herself before glancing at him-- "Sit. And tell me how many slices you want. We should finish it off so you can have as much as you want." And he could always have second helpings if he wanted. She went ahead and started putting at least two slices on there and once he told her to stop, she'd move to serve out the mashed potatoes.

Once that was done, she'll move to sit down across from him with a smile. "It's the first time I've ever gotten to make you dinner. Or anything for that matter. Besides a letter." And for some reason, that felt really special to her.
